The Big Futures program allows Big Brothers Big Sisters to serve youth and young adults through mentoring beyond age 18, offering unique opportunities that include company tours, career-related activities, networking events to connect with a variety of professionals, and exposure to workforce experience. Currently, the program begins by serving 9th-12th grade students, and will offer the opportunity for mentees to stay matched with their mentors after high school, while having full access to the above mentioned opportunities.
Support for youth as they transition from adolescence into adulthood is crucial for their long-term success and the betterment of our communities. Big Futures aims to help young adults realize their full potential and set them on a path to a successful future. We are always looking for new businesses who are willing to become involved in "Big Futures" programming - this can be as simple as hosting a tour, discussion about career opportunities in your field, and short activity with a small group of students and their mentors!
